Manchester City has officially announced the return of goalkeeper James Trafford, who signs with the club after reaching an agreement with Burnley.
The young shot-stopper, 21 years old, returns to the ‘citizen’ squad after having been transferred in 2023.
City has exercised a buy-back clause and closed the deal for around 27 million pounds.
Trafford, who stood out for his performances in the Championship, will join the team starting August 1.
With this move, Guardiola’s side strengthens the goalkeeping position in light of the possible departure of Stefan Ortega or Ederson.
