Bruno Fernandes has further cemented himself in Manchester United history by twice giving his side the lead at home vs Aston Villa.

After a goalless first-half, the 31-year-old whipped in a corner to the near-post which was met by a well-placed header from Casemiro.

Following a Villa equaliser from Ross Barkley, the Red Devils regained the lead through another Fernandes play.

This time, the Portuguese superstar set up Matheus Cunha with a deft, first-touch through-ball from just inside the halfway line.

It is Fernandes’ 16th assist, breaking David Beckham’s record for most assists by a Man Utd player in a single Premier League campaign.
