‘Canelo’ was a decisive player for the Red Devils to win the Liga MX title.
Toluca has been crowned champion under the guidance of Argentine Antonio ‘Turco’ Mohamed, with key contributions from some players. Among them, the offensive contribution of Jesús ‘Canelo’ Angulo stands out, one of the key figures in winning the Clausura 2025.
According to the club’s social media, Angulo participated in 24% of the goals. In total, he scored three goals and provided five assists in the competition.
On the other hand, ‘Canelo’ has positioned himself as the second player with the most successful passes (101), reflecting his role as an orchestrator of the offensive play and a great alternative in the second line to finish plays.
After 15 years, Toluca has once again been crowned champion of Mexican football, proving to be the most solid team in the tournament, both in the first phase and in the playoffs.
