Thomas Tuchel’s reign as England manager has gotten off to a dream start at Wembley as the Three Lions lead Albania 1-0 inside the first 20 minutes.

As England looks to build on the brick-work laid down by Gareth Southgate, there have been new faces and old heads seen across the first squad under the German, with Arsenal starlet Myles Lewis-Skelly among them.

The 18-year-old, who became the second-youngest player to ever debut for England behind former Arsenal cult hero Theo Walcott, has already endeared himself to Tuchel when he netted a debut goal to put the Three Lions out in front, becoming the youngest goalscoring debutant in England’s history.

Lewis-Skelly dispatched his finish between the legs of Albania keeper Thomas Strakosha with aplomb, showing the type of class the youngster has relied on since breaking into the first team under Mikel Arteta this season.

Despite his age, and already settling into international life quickly, the London-born defender may be primed to star for his country for years to come.
