The Premier League is experiencing its first taste of semi-automated offside technology this weekend.

And Ipswich Town will be very thankful for it too as they took a 2-0 lead through Ben Johnson’s header away to Chelsea.

It had been ruled out initially for an apparent offside from Julio Enciso in the build-up – only for the intervention of the video officials to overturn that call.
