Fermín López has spoken for the first time after his possible departure from FC Barcelona.
After several days of numerous news about the future of Fermín López, the Barcelona player breaks his silence in ‘Mundo Deportivo’.
This is what he said about his final decision: “Well, in the end, my priority has always been to be at Barça. I arrived at 12 years old, it was my dream to be here, to reach the first team. It’s always flattering that there is interest from other clubs, but the truth is I always had the idea of staying at Barça and succeeding here.”
He was then asked about the support from Barcelona fans during his decision: “Not just this week, since I joined the first team, I have felt very loved by the fans. It’s gratifying that I am considered an important player for Barça.”
And Flick? Has he been important? This is what he said about it: “He has been very important, because I have always fought to be here, to play at Barça. My idea is to stay here. You know in football, you never know, and there are things that don’t depend on you, but my priority has always been to stay at Barça.”
