Internacional’s defeat to São Paulo last Saturday (19) sealed Paulo Pezzolano’s fate.
The 43-year-old Uruguayan coach is no longer in charge of Colorado.

And Luis Zubeldía is reportedly the favorite to take over the job.
Pezzolano was hired after Inter avoided relegation in last year’s Brasileirão. His contract ran until December.
He was in charge of Colorado for 46 matches, with 18 wins, 12 draws, and 16 defeats. A 47.8% success rate.
Inter’s post-World Cup run has produced only two wins in 14 matches.
