At the final whistle of the first half, the Nação — which is packing out the “Biggest in the World” — loudly booed the Rio side.

Since Flamengo won 2-0 in Ecuador, the Rubro-Negro is still advancing to the semifinals of the continental tournament thanks to a favorable aggregate scoreline (2-1).
